Maccabi will visit the second division team in the beginning of January

Maccabi Fox Tel Aviv will play a second division team for a place in the Israeli state cup semifinals. The team in question is Hapoel Nes Ziona. Who played in the top division for several years and beat Maccabi in 2013.
As per the rules of the tournament, any second division team automatically hosts any first division team, so the game will be held in Nes Ziona, at the beginning of January (games are set to January 1st but could be moved either to the day before or the day after).
Other matches in the quarter finals: Maccabi Ashdod – Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Jerusalem – Bnei Herzliya, Hapoel Be’er Sheva – Hapoel Holon.
