Jersualem were the favorites. “Hell, no”, he responded and continued: “I’m tired of hearing that, tired of hearing that. Nobody going to say that, I don’t want to hear that anymore. Y’all want to say that, y’all going to keep it to yourselves. We’re going to see tomorrow. There’s a championship on the line, a cup on the line, we’ll see then. “We owe this to our fans, we’ve been playing terrible, having a bad season. We got to show them something. Fight for them. We have the jerseys on our backs for a reason.
“It makes it a lot better to win on someone else’s court. Their fans are mad, yelling, throwing stuff. I’ve won like this before, it feels great. Much better than losing here, seeing confetti falling from the sky”.
Guy Pnini, the team’s captain: “In a tough season like this one, a win could provide a major mental push for what lies ahead. We will never be underdogs in Israel. But I don’t think we’re favorites, either. It’s 50-50 and equally important for both clubs”
