Segev addressed the new season in the horizon: “The level of excitement is very high, there are a lot of new players and not just in Maccabi but in all the other teams as well. We still have a lot to learn as a team, we’ve made progress because we played versus atop level EuroLeague team which was different from what we’ve experienced to that point, it was an important test for us all so that we can learn and understand the level needed”.
Kane added: “We’re feeling good, we’ve had a few games in which the results were good, we also lost in a few games but we played as a team. There are a lot of new players in the team and I believe we’ve made progress and that we are coming ready to this season as the tournament helped us a lot

We’re fully focused on ourselves trying to get better with hard work.”Norris Cole who’s recovering from his injury and expected to return soon said: “I feel better with each day. We are getting better and growing as a team with every day that passes, we can’t wait for the season to start.
Ofcourse I wanted to be on the court with the team but I was very happy to see the team as it gave me the chance to cheer for them, I also witnessed our not so good moments. I was still a part of the team, I gave them advices and I wanted to be with them on court and I will be, soon.
