Pierre Jackson: “They played really good, we managed to get some big stops that made it possible for me to make these shots. I’ve been doing this for all my life, it’s one of my strengths. I am one of the leaders, you always got to be ready and the guys put me in a great position to take the shot, so our team did a good job”.
Coach Spahija: “I want to congratulate my team for their fight for 40 minutes, even if we just started playing in the second half, in the first 20 minutes we didn’t show up, and it’s the same story from the beginning of the season to kind of play back to back games in the EuroLeague and the Israeli domestic league but at least we won. I also want to give credit to Herzliya for their preparation, fight and the great basketball they’ve played, but the game is 40 minutes and we did it similar to the game against Bamberg, for us it’s the same if we are playing Herzliya or Real Madrid, this is the life of this team and its coach”.
