“First game in the third round against Haifa who’s a very tough opponent” said Coach Spahija, “we had a different roster than usual tonight which is why we had a different rotation. I want to give credit to my players, I am proud of them. When you look at the game, our numbers were good except for the third quarter and our free throw percentage, I can be happy with this game. Karem and Itai were the key for tonight’s victory. It’s very hard to explain Haifa’s 20:0 run but we reacted, we found the right guys on defense and the comeback we made makes this win even bigger”.
“I’m trying to stay sharp in practices and I work hard so that I can always be ready and show what I can do” said Itai Segev who finished the game with MVP honors. “I’m happy that I was able to help, I want to thank my teammates”.
