Maccabi’s coach after the 98:95 win over Ness Ziona: “We have a lot of to fix but we should be happy that the players didn’t give up”. Pargo: “We have to prepare well to the playoffs and to get better in every possible aspect”
“It was very important for us to get another PG”, said coach Neven Spahija. “I wanted it for a long time, what he (i.e. Pargo) did in the last quarter was incredible, and he deserves the credit. We are a team that has no consistency, it is weird to me that we started the game slow, but we managed to play fast at the end and we won. We have a lot of to fix but we should be happy that the players didn’t give up”.
“I don’t want to jump to any conclusions”, said Jeremy Pargo. “Let’s see what happens next game, I’m still trying to find my spot within the team, I’m definitely not the go to guy. We’ve struggled throughout the game, we have to prepare well to the playoffs and to get better in every possible aspect”.
