The Yellow and Blue arrival has started yesterday with coach Spahija and continued today with Ex-NBAer Johnny O’Bryant who already knows what being a Maccabist is all about: “My expectation is to try and win as many games as possible”
About whether he’s concerned about his EuroLeague debut Johnny said: “A little bit, I talked to some guys and obviously the rules are different but for the most part basketball is basketball so I’m gonna do my best and work with the coaches and try to learn as quick s possible”. About his preferred position (PF or C) Jonny added: “It don’t really matter, whatever the team needs me to do I think I can play the 4 and stretch the floor and shoot the ball but also play the 5, it really is what the coach needs”.
“It’s a historic club, people really respect Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball, and for me it’s an honor to really help the club win, my expectation is to try and win as many games as possible”.
