“Congrats to Rishon and coach Sherf for their amazing game”, said Coach Neven Spahija after the 77:86 loss to Maccabi Rishon LeZion. “They stole 19 balls from us and made 15 threes, they were a team, we are far away from being a team and that’s why we lost the game”.
“Definitely we are gonna use this talent and aggressiveness to press full court”, coach Spahija added. “This is preseason and we have to work, because we didn’t have a preseason the right way, I don’t need excuses but preseason was complicated and we have to continue and practice, the game was the only chance even if we committed so many mistakes. With time we will be better”.
“The story of the game was that they came out with more energies than us”, said Michael Roll. “They we’re making shots, especially three pointers they made a lot of those, that accounted for most of their points.
