“I got to give credit to Gran Canaria for their great win”, said Coach Neven Spahija. “Unfortunately we didn’t play the right basketball, tonight so many problems defensively and offensively, we didn’t find yet the right chemistry but this is the life, it was one of the most important games for us because of our start, tough schedule a lot of injuries, we lost many games and now we hope on this trip that maybe we can recover. The first game is away, we have one more, we lost and definitely Maccabi with this roster needs to play better basketball on both ends of the court”.
“I think overall we played a good game”, said DeAndre Kane. “We missed a lot of shots a lot of open shots. I think we got outrebounded and that was a big part of the game giving up a lot of rebounds. As always we’re positive, but right now we’re 1:6 so it’s tough to take a lot of positive from the game”.
“It was a tough game”, said Alex Tyus. “I think it was the energy, some execution, we turned the ball a little too much, we gotta be a little better on defense and keep moving forward”.
