”I think we were in command for most of the game even though our opponents never gave up. In the third quarter we opened up the lead, and in the fourth we played our game, we were able to break them down and win. We are delighted because you need to know how to win these type of games. If you aren’t strong mentally, you’ll have problems in these types of matches”.
Coach explained the importance of these games for the team: ”It’s essential for us that our new players will get used to the local league and this game gave us a chance to learn about this league. We need all of our players to be ready no matter if they played or sat the game before. We’ve got nothing to do with not registering 4 of our players. Here we have these rules, and in the EuroLeague we don’t”.
”I think it was a very physical game, we will take a lot out of it for the rest of the season.” said Yovel Zoosman that finished with 6 points and 4 rebounds, after clinching to the Winner Cup finals. ”The new players will understand that they are coming into a tough league.
