On Saturday night Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv will host Ironi Ness Ziona as part of the 20th Israeli Winner League fixture. This game will have a special meaning to it as the Israeli champions will be wearing the #Itanu jerseys that list all of the supporters worldwide who’ve joined the venture and supported the club. Other than that, Saturday’s game will have increased meaning as it will be the first time in nearly a year that Menora Mivtachim Arena will host 1,000 Yellow & Blue fans.

100 #Itanu subscribers received a pair of tickets to the contest, and they will be able to watch their Maccabi players wearing their names on the front of jerseys already in warm-ups.

By the end of the month, the special #Itanu packages will arrive at the members, who will find their limited edition shirts. The shirts were created similar to the players jerseys as the package will also contain a unique scarf with the name of each and every fan who took part in the project.

During the past week, the Yellow & Blue bus, which drives the team across the country, contained the printed names of the #Itanu contributors. John DiBartolomeo, Omri Casspi, Scottie Wilbekin, and Othello Hunter were photographed with the limited edition jerseys and were delighted to find out the different fans names.

The next #Itanu meeting will be on March 17th at 19:15, as the supporters will have a special Zoom conference with Maccabi legend Miki Berkovich reliving the 40th anniversary of winning the European Championship in 1981. Number 9 will reveal rare memories from the perfect season, which ended with 4 titles – Intercontinental Cup, European Championship Cup, the Israeli Championship, and the State Cup trophy.

Thank you for being #Itanu (with us).
