I’m the kind of person who loves to get connected to others and I’m very happy that in Maccabi I made only friends. Real friends. Friends within the ownership and management, friends who work for the team and friends who are fans of the club. I want to thank all of them for making me understand, in their own special way, that Maccabi is not just a team but a way of life.
I’m leaving Maccabi with a lot of beautiful memories and have the certainty that we did our best, knowing that sometimes the best was not enough to succeed in all our goals.
I would like to thank all the players and the coaches I worked with, the amazing staff of the team and the people at the offices for their constant support and assistance. Lastly, I want to thank Giannis who gave me the honor and the privilege to coach by his side such a unique club as Maccabi for three and a half seasons.
Scientists say that dreams last for some minutes, mine lasted 3 years 2 months and 28 days.
