The head coach signed a contract until 2026: “I really appreciate and am thankful for the vote of confidence”
Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv extended Oded Kattash for two more seasons, as the head coach signed a contract that will run until 2026. Coach Kattash lead the team to a second consecutive appearance in the EuroLeague playoffs this season, despite facing unprecedented adversity.
“I am happy and proud to sign for two more years with Maccabi”, confirmed Kattash, “I really appreciate and am thankful for the vote of confidence, and I am ready for the challenges that we will face down the road. Now we are all focused together in the task at hand, winning the Israeli championsh”.
“It seems natural and obligated that Oded will remain in his role as Maccabi Tel Aviv’s head coach for the next two years”, said club chairman Shimon Mizrahi. “The current basketball season proved and affirmed his capabilities. Oded was able to navigate and strengthen his bond with the players despite the difficult conditions that befell us in the past 8 months, and attained notable achievements. I wish Oded more success with our team”.
