Before tonight’s game, a memorial ceremony will be held in honor of the late David Federman, one of the club’s owners who passed away this week. The players will take the court wearing special warm-up shirts dedicated to his memory, and his photograph will be placed on his permanent seat at Menora Mivtachim Arena.
Each player stepping onto the floor will lay a yellow rose on his seat, while his partners, Club Chairman Shimon Mizrahi, Oudi Recanati, and Richard Deitz, will raise a flag bearing his portrait to the arena rafters.
A moment of silence will be observed prior to tip-off.
The ceremony will be attended by basketball legend and EuroLeague President Dejan Bodiroga.
