On Tuesday: Maccabi returns to Winner's League, faces Galil Elyon at home
Motivated by the huge win over Real Madrid in the Euroleague, the Yellows will host Barak Peleg's team. Alex Poythress is back in the squad
The Yellows are in the midst of a fantastic run on the domestic front, winning 10 games in a row and leading the table. Maccabi already met Barak Peleg’s team twice this season, beating the Reds both times, 104-73 at home and 96-67 in Kfar Blum.
Oded Kattash’s players will next face Ironi Ness Ziona on Thursday before shifting their focus to the Euroleague quarter-finals series against Monaco. The Yellows will play the first two games in the series in France on April 25 and 27 and will host game 3 on May 2nd.
The game against Galil marks Alex Poythress’ return to the squad, as he was registered for the first time in over four months. With him, Maccabi’s roster includes Wade Baldwin IV, Jarell Martin, Rafi Menco, Roman Sorkin, Guy Pnini, John DiBartolomeo, Darrun Hilliard, Jake Cohen, Tomer Agmon, Yiftach Ziv, Bonzie Colson.

The Yellows' winning streak in Winner's League ended with a 83-94 loss to Barak Peleg's team. Alex Poythress returned to play after four months and scored 13
Despite the loss and Bonzie Colson’s injury, which forced him to leave the court in the fourth quarter, there was a bright spot in Alex Poythress’s return to play after being out for four months due to injury. The Yellow’s big man scored 13 points and will provide Oded Kattash with more firepower in the upcoming challenges that await them.
Maccabi is still ranked first in the table and will face Ironi Ness Ziona away on Thursday in its last game before the Euroleague quarter-finals series against Monaco.
