Coach Sfairopoulos’ starting five: Wilbekin. Zoosman, Kane, Cohen and Tyus. Kelly was the first to score in the game, Tyus reacted with four points but Galil still managed to take the 4:6 lead. O’Bryant scored to get the crew in yellow and blue into its offensive rhythm taking the 15:14 lead. Johnny scored again but Kelly was the last to score in the first quarter as his team trails 19:16.

Deni and Johnny started the second quarter swinging as they scored four unanswered points to force coach Beit- Halachmi to call for a timeout (23:16). The squad of coach Sfairopoulos got the job done on both ends of the floor to claim the 33:20 lead. John-Di scored from deep but the visitors reacted to try and stay close to Maccabi (38:25). Coach Sfairopoulos called for a timeout after Miller made it 41:29. Tyus scored for the yellows but Nankin was the last to score in the first half with the scoreboard showing 43:31.  

The visitors went on an early 7:2 run at the beginning of the third quarter forcing coach Sfairopoulos to call for a timeout (45:38). Jeremy scored back to back threes to end Galil’s run (51:38). Kelly and Wittington trimmed Maccabi’s lead down to 54:48; Wittington’s three-point play kept the visitors’ comeback attempt alive (57:54). The crew in yellow and blue led by Cohen, John-Di and Kane completed a 9:2 run to finish the third quarter ahead 66:56.

Maccabi started the fourth quarter with a 7:2 run to take the 73:58 lead; Navon scored from deep but the yellows answered with Rol and Caloiaro (76:61). Johnny and Deni capitalized on both ends of the court making Maccabi’s transition offense unstoppable (86:67). Miller scored from deep but Zoosman was the last to score in the game giving Maccabi the 88:70 home win.
