Three days after the defeat in Malaga, the Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv players recovered their composure with a 109-74 win in the NOKIA Arena vs Maccabi SK Rishon Letsion.
In the first half the players were still affected by the events in Malaga and went into the break with only a 49-46 lead. A minute before the end of the third Maccabi held a 70-62 lead. But then ran 10-0 into the final period. Jasikevicius, Vujcic & Thomas were at their best in the final minutes and Maccabi won the final quarter by 35-12.
An excellent shooting night for the Yellows with 73% in three pointers and 70% in FG. Jasikevicius & Thomas were 100% in FG. For Gur Shelef it was his best game of the season.
