It wasn’t without some challenging moments. The Yellows fell behind in the first quarter and trailed by 12 before catching up with the Turks in the second. Credits for the comeback should go to Lorenzo Brown (21 points) and John DiBartolomeo, who showed fighting spirit and added 10 points, six rebounds, and four steals.

Good defense carried Oded Kattash’s team to a double-digit lead in the fourth, but Fener made its own comeback and tied the game with 2 minutes remaining on the clock. Fortunately, Maccabi kept calm. Wade Baldwin’s three-point play brought the lead back to the Yellows, and DiBArtolomeo’s steal effectively put the game away.
