“We are facing a hectic schedule with tough away games,” said Oded Kattash before the flight to Greece. “Olympiacos consistently starts games very strongly, especially at home. We need to control the pace and find the right energies, much like other teams that play outside their home”.

“Every team has weaknesses. We’ll have to be physical and fight harder than them to get this win”, added Jalen Adams. “Every Maccabi player needs to have a sense of urgency, even more so when our fans are not behind us.” 

Olympiacos is in good shape lately. The Greeks have won four of their last five and trail by only one game behind the Euroleague leaders, Real Madrid, whom they beat last week. The Yellows can draw some optimism from the fact that they defeated the Reds at Menora Mivtachim Arena earlier in the season, 90:84. Let’s hope for a similar outcome this time as well.
