The Israel National Team lost 76-83 to Germany in its first game in the International Tournament in Istanbul as a preparation for the European Semi Finals in September.
Yaniv Green, the new Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv player, led the team with 18 pts & 5 rbds. Tal Burstein had 15 pts, 7 rbds & 2 assists and Yotam Halperin scored 7 pts andpulled down one rebound.
On Tuesday Israel will face Russia.
