Sarunas Jasikevicius was one of the main contributors to Indiana Pacers first win in the preseason, 99-92 over Utah Jazz in a game played ar the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
He scored 13 of his 18 pts in the final quarter and was on court in the final minutes. He played 25 minutes, made 6-9 FG and 4-5 FT, had 4 assists, 3 rbds & 1 steal. He was praised by coach Rick Carlisle who said: “You saw the reason tonight, why we felt he was an important acquisition”.
