After a one year break, Maccabi Tel Aviv regained the Juniors Championship with a 91-79 win over Hapoel Jerusalem in th Final played in Ramla. This was Maccabi’s 18th Championship.
Maccabi led 20-14 at the end of the first quarter and 39-26 at half time. Jerusalalem made a comeback in the third but Maccabi started the final period 59-56 up and domintaed it.
MVP for the night was 17 years old Omri Caspi with 29 pts in 58%FG and 13 rebounds.
