Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv recorded its first win of the 2004/05 season beating Maccabi Givat Shmuel 93-72 in a pre season game in Hadar Yosef.
Maccabi played without the national teams players Tal Burstein, Yotam Hakperin, Yaniv Green and Nikola Vujcic as well as Maceo Baston (injured) and Gur Shelef (ill). An impressive debut for Nestoras Kommatos in the number 20 vest with 28 pts, including 3 three pointers, 9 rbds & 4 assists.
Other scorers: Jasikevicius 21 (4 three ppointers), Thomas 14, Sharp 11, Parker 11, Dotan 3, Breisker 3. Top scorer for Givat Shmuel was Chris Watson with 18 points.
