Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv players celebrated the club’s 43rd League Championship and the 10th in a row, with a crushing 113-60 win over Ironi Strauss Nahariya in the third game of the playoff finals in front of 7,000 fans in Yad Eliyahu.
The exhausted Nahariya players had no reply to the Yellow & Blues who had already a 31-16 lead at the end of the first quarter. At the half it was 56-24 with Nikola Vujcic on 21 pts. After the third period the score read 79-44 and finally a 53 pts win and the 29th League & Cup doubles.
Vujcic posted a personal Premier League scoring record of 33 pts (81% FG) as well as 9 rbds & 2 assists.
