Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv made another step towards its final goal of the season – a fifth consecutive championship title. The Yellows fought hard and battled past Bnei Herzeliya with an 82:76 victory and went 1:0 up in Winner’s league semifinal series.
Maccabi trailed at halftime, but an improved second half, in addition to Scottie Wilbekin’s 24 points, pushed the champions to an important win. Game 2 of the series will be played on Sunday (20:30) at Hayovel gym.
