Maccabi Tel Aviv Juniors tonight lost 87-89 to Hapoel Tel Aviv in a dramatic Cup Final in Raanana.
Maccabi led 24-21 at the end of the first period but from then on Hapoel were the better team: 39-37 at half time and 64-60 at the end of the third. With a minute to go Hapoel opened a 87-78 lead. Maccabi came back to 87-85 but could not prevent Hapoel from winning their first Cup ever.
