Alan Anderson, who has become a star during his first season with Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, won the honor of being the Euroleague MVP for the month of February after posting an average of 26 index points for the first four games of the Top 16.
Anderson scored an average of 19 points per game (72% from the field, 16 of 16 from the free throw line), pulled down an average of 6.3 rebounds and averaged 3 assists per game.
Anderson’s best game so far in the Top 16 was against Real Madrid, when he scored 20 points, took 8 rebounds, handed out 5 assists and had 4 steals on the way to a 40 index point tally.
The last Maccabi player to get such a high index score during the Top 16 was, of course, Anthony Parker.
