In response to comments erroneously attributed to him in the media, Carlos Arroyo wants to be perfectly clear:
“I am happy to be here, and to play for Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv.
I’m excited and proud to have the opportunity to play for the team, with the players, the professional staff, the management and the fans. I am 100% committed to Maccabi Tel Aviv, and I absolutely want the team to be successful.
“It is important to me that my teammates and the fans know that I am here for them every day, to work together and achieve great things for Maccabi Tel Aviv.
I don’t regret for even a minute that I came here to Israel in general, and to Maccabi Tel Aviv in particular.
I intend to contribute to the team as long as i can, and to give all that is in my power to continue the splendidly successful tradition of this club.
“These are my true feelings, not the nonsense written supposedly in my name or any other things that have been attributed to me.”
