Israel was ranked 11th in the European Junior Championship in Olympia, Greece. This after beating Latvia 102-94. Omri Casspi was once again the top player with 35 pts, 10 rbds & 3 stls. Previously Israel was beaten 82-93 by Croatia. Gal Mekel scored 23 pts and Casspi had 21 pts & 7 rbds. At the end of the championship Casspi is in ranked third in the scorers ranking with an average of 21.4 pts. He also averaged 7 rbds.
