Chuck Eidson has announced via his agent that he will not be returning to Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, and expressed his thanks for two wonderful years with the club. Eidson has not yet decided where he will play next season.

Chuck Eidson, one of the top foreign players on the team in the last two years, has announced through his agent that he will not continue with the club for an additional season. The talented player has not yet decided where he will play next season. This season, the guard posted averages of 9.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.6 steals per game in the Euroleague, and was named the MVP in the semi-final game of the Final Four. In the Israeli league, Eidson’s averages were 10 points, 4.6 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game.
Eidson notified the sport channel this morning that “No matter where I go, the fans won’t be like Maccabi’s fans. I appreciate all of the people in the club; Maccabi is a great organization. It always was and always will be. I have nothing but enormous admiration for the club. I want to send out special thanks to Gur Shelef, Ami Biton, David Blatt and Guy Goodes. They really made me feel at home.”
