Marcus Fizer landed in
The forward, who was injured last season and was released by the team, will go through rehabilitation with Maccabi.
“It’s good to be back home.
I’m very lucky to be back, and I thank Shimon Mizrahi, David Federman and Raanan Katz,” said the forward, who for awhile seemed unlikely to see the heads of the club again outside of a courtroom.
“I’ve been through so much this year: my mother died, and my daughter was born,” said Fizer.
“I’m not in as good shape as I was, but it could be I didn’t go through as good a rehabilitation as I could have.
I didn’t have a coach with me, and I didn’t have a plan of action.
Now I’ll be working with Rafi Virshuvski (the Maccabi physiotherapist).
I don’t know when I’ll be able to play again, but I’ll try to get back in the game as fast as I can.”
