Some exciting new surprises await fans at Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv’s first home Euroleague game tonight. One of them is an enormous, highly sophisticated zeppelin that will fly around inside Nokia Arena during the presentation of the players, time outs, and between quarters. It is one of the largest, most advanced zeppelins used in indoor arenas in Israel (just imagine a Mazda 2 flying overhead). The zeppelin is equipped with internal lighting and will drop fliers onto the fans. The zeppelin is sponsored by Africa Israel Residences, which will raffle off two plane tickets every month, which the lucky winners will use to fly with the team to an away Euroleague game.
Once again this season, Pitty Media will be supplying fans with Maccabist folding noisemakers. Maccabist, the official fan club of Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, will be on hand to shake the Arena’s foundations and cover it in Maccabi yellow. Thanks to fashion company Celio, which is providing sponsorship for the second year, the team’s fans will have a chance to get 50% their purchases (good through 26 October 2013).
In addition, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv has signed an agreement with real estate group Sami Maslavi, builder of the Elite Towers residential project located on the famous area once owned by the Elite Company in Ramat Gan. The scope of the sponsorship is valued at approximately 750,000 NIS and the agreement is for one year.
