It wasn’t an evening to remember for Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv. The Yellows traveled to Spain hoping to maintain their winning streak but ended up losing to Baskonia in a game that unfortunately wasn’t a real contest from beginning to end.
The final score was 116:87 to the Basques, that shot the ball at incredible percentages. Josh Nebo (24 points) and Lorenzo Brown (21) tried to keep Maccabi in the game but it was an impossible mission today.
Oded Kattash’s team will try to bounce back on Sunday against Hapoel Eilat, before the big encounter with Barcelona on Thursday at Menora Mivtachim Arena.
