After the tough loss to Olympiacos on Friday in the Euroleague, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv tasted victory again with an 86:56 against Maccabi Rishon-Lezion in Winner’s league. The yellows improved to 5:2 and now lead the table with three more teams.
Maccabi didn’t face any real difficulty against the opponent from the last place in the league, but the yellows can still be satisfied from a win that was achieved without Derrick Williams, Jalen Reynolds, and James Nunnally in their fourth game this week.
Oz Blayzer led the scorers with 20 points, Ante Zizic, Roman Sorkin, and Keenan Evans added 12 each. On Thursday, Maccabi will face a much tougher challenge facing Alba Berlin in the Euroleague.
