Nerve-breaking last minutes ended with a red victory at Menora Mivtachim Arena. Reynolds led the yellows with 19 points
Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv is going through a rough time, and today didn’t mark any change in this status. The yellows lost 82:83 to Hapoel Tel-Aviv at home in the derby and dropped to a 7:4 record in Winner’s league.
After a close first half, Maccabi opened up a double-digit lead, but the visitors fought back to turn the last minutes into a real thriller at Menora Mivtachim Arena. Trailing by three, Maccabi had the last possession but unfortunately couldn’t convert.
Jalen Reynolds led the yellows with 19 points, and Keenan Evans added 15. Maccabi will face Monaco on Wednesday and come back to Israel to play Hapoel Jerusalem on Saturday.
