Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv is one victory away from Winner’s league semifinals. The Yellows got their second derby win over Hapoel Tel-Aviv in 48 hours, this time an impressive 93:86, and can close out the series they now lead 2:0 on Wednesday.
Putting aside some tough moments in the closing minutes of the game, Maccabi dominated the Reds. A great performance by Roman Sorkin with 20 points and nine rebounds pushed the Yellows to a 17-point lead that was cut to 4, but clutch moves by Williams, Evans, and Nunnally secured a very satisfying win.
