Nevertheless, they dominated the boards, outrebounding their opponents 43-29, and managed to level the score at a crucial juncture.
In the absence of Wade Baldwin, it was Lorenzo Brown who stepped up in the closing minutes, delivering crucial baskets and leading Maccabi with an impressive 21 points, marking a career-high in the Winner’s League.
