Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv advanced to Winner’s cup final after an impressive performance and a 97:91 win over Hapoel Holon.
Lorenzo Brown looked great on his debut with 13 points and 12 assists, and Alex Poythress added 17 in a game in which Maccabi already held a 25-point lead. it was an outstanding display from all of Oded Kattash’s players.
Josh Nebo (14 points) dominated the paint, Wade Baldwin (14) provided points when it mattered, and Rafi Menko (14) and Bonzie Colson (11) were the X-factors on the wings.
Now Maccabi will start its preparation for the real thing – the start of the Euroleague with a home game against Zalgiris Kaunas on October 6th.
