Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv extended its winning streak today (Sunday) to eleven in arguably the sweetest fashion possible. The Yellows played terrifically offensively against the best defensive team in the Winner’s League, leading from the get-go to the final buzzer, and winning 88-74 on the road.

It was more than just about streaks or basketball this evening. Maccabi wanted to settle the scores with Jerusalem after losing to Alexander Aleksandar D?iki?’s team twice this season. They came up firing, with Lorenzo Brown leading the Yellow’s scorer’s list with 18 points, while Maccabi’s Israeli players contributed 49

Next up will be Zalgiris Kaunas. Oded Kattash’s players will face the Lithuanians on Thursday, hoping to seal its place in the playoffs and achieve one of the season’s main objectives.
