Madrid, here we come! Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv finished the Euroleague’s regular season with an 85:76 win over Fenerbahce, a well-deserved victory thanks to James Nunnally’s 19 points. The win also determined that the Israeli champs’ opponent in the playoffs would be Real Madrid.
It was the Yellows’ sixth Euroleague win in a row and one that secured them the fifth place in the table. It also proved again that the sky is the limit this season for Avi Even’s team, which will open the quarterfinal series with an away match in Spain this coming Wednesday.
