Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv is in the final stretch of its battle for a Euroleague playoff ticket, but Winner’s league is another front in which the Yellows have clear objectives. On Sunday (9 pm Israel time), Oded Kattash’s players will face Gilboa/Galil hoping to extend their winning streak to six and maintain a positive momentum before playing Villeurbanne on Thursday.
Lorenzo Brown and Josh Nebo will sit out Sunday’s game for rest. Maccabi’s roster will include John DiBartolomeo, Wade Baldwin, Jarell Martin, Rafi Menco, Roman Sorkin, Guy Pnini, Darrun Hilliard, Jake Cohen, Suleiman Braimoh, Tomer Agmon, Yiftach Ziv and Bonzie Colson.
Maccabi arrives at the game as the league leader, with 16 wins and only three losses. On the other hand, the visitors are having a rough season with a 4-15 record. In the previous meeting, Maccabi won 77-60 at Gan Ner.
