After 74 games already played this season, everything drains into one more game for Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv. The Yellows will host Bnei Herzeliya on Wednesday (21:00 local, 2 pm ET), knowing that a victory will guarantee them a ticket to Winner’s league finals. A loss in game 3, and the champions’ season will officially end.
“It’s a winner takes all game, in front of our home crowd,” said Maccabi’s coach, Avi Even, ahead of the game. “We are playing against a good team, and this is money time. We’ve done great things in our gym this season, and I trust my players we can do even more”.
