Maccabi Fox Tel Aviv were supposed to host Hapoel Be’er Sheva tonight as part of the Winner League’s sixth fixture, however, the game was postponed due to instructions by the Home Front Command and Israel’s Police Department.
After ten straight wins in all competitions, along with an undefeated record at home and staying the last unbeaten in the Israeli league, Giannis Sfairopoulos squad was ready to keep the momentum going before the flight to Vitoria.
The Club was waiting until the afternoon for instructions by the Home Front Command and The Israeli Basketball Super League Administration after dozen of rockets were fired from Gaza towards southern and central of Israel. The preparation towards the contest against Be’er Sheva proceeded as planned, but the game was moved to January 20th.
