After six consecutive wins in all competitions, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv’s run has stopped. The yellows lost 82:88 to Hapoel Holon away and dropped to a 3:2 record in Winner’s league, three days before they face CSKA Moscow in the Euroleague.
The momentum that Maccabi carried with her lasted one quarter. Led by Derrick Williams (18 points), the Yellows had a ten-point lead after ten minutes, but then everything changed. The game became Physical (48 fouls were whistled), and the hosts had their noses in front in the end.
