After finishing its 2017/18 EuroLeague campaign, the yellows will continue their quest for the Israeli league championship firing on all cylinders. Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv will start the league’s third round (Tuesday 18:00CET Sport5) at the Menora Mivtachim arena against Maccabi Haifa. Coach Spahija will miss Joh-Di (groin), Pierre Jackson (back) and Tyus (ankle); an announcement regarding the game’s final roster will be given later on.
Coach Neven Spahija said: “We will have against Haifa the same motivation, their table ranking doesn’t say anything about them, they have good players on the team and they are looking better in their last games. It’s a very competitive league and I have a lot of respect for the other teams”.
Yovel Zoosman added: “I think we’re ready for this game, we had a good practice and now we can focus more on the domestic competition with more practices and more time. We will come to each game with the desire to win”.
