The Israel u.20 national team qualified for the European Champpionshipip Finals that will be held in the Czech Republic in July 2004. Israel ranked second in the semi final tourmament in Gudalajara, Spain and qualified together with the home team. Israel lost to Spain 69-85, and beat France 98-97 in OT and Luxembourg 100-58. Top player for Israel was Yotam Halperin who scored 76 pts in the three games. Other Maccabi Tel Aviv players on the team were: Anton Kazarnowski, Erez Kohansky, Avi Ben Schimol & Gilad Hirsch.
