Israel will play Serbia-Montenegro tomorrow (Friday, 16:45) in the quarter finals of the under 20 European Championships held in Brno, Czech Republic. In spite of the 84-104 defeat by Croatia, Israel finished in second place of Group A. Yotam Halperin was the team’s top scorer with 22 pts. Anton Kazarnovski had 18 pts & 8 rebounds.
With the completion of the first stage Kazarnovski is ranked second in the champiomship in FT% with 18-20 (90.0%). He is tenth in rebounds with an average of 7.0 and 19th in scoring (12.4 pts). Halperin is third in scoring (20.6) and minutes played (38.6) and fourth in FT% with 47-53 (88.7).
