Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv has added American forward Nate Linhart, who has been with the club since September of 2014, to their Israeli Winner Sal League roster for the remainder of the season – just days before the deadline. Maccabi’s roster of foreigners registered to play in the Israeli League now stands at 7; with the rule that only 5 may appear on the roster for any given game, two players will get a night off each time Maccabi plays in the Israeli League.

Linhart played in 20 Euroleague games this season, posting averages of 5.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and one steal per game during the regular season. Not included in the stat sheet is the incredible intensity and impressive defense shown in his average of 16 minutes per game. Linhart leads Maccabi with 43% shooting from three point range. In the Euroleague Top 16 round, his numbers rose to 7.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game.

Maccabi’s next game in the Israeli League will be on Saturday night, April 25 on the road against Gilboa-Galil.
