Kane was born and raised in Pittsburgh, in college he first played for Marshal and then for Iowa State, his next stop was Russia where he played for “Red October”, he also played in Belgium and Germany before joining Hapoel Eilat in January 2016.
DeAndre started the 2016/17 season with Nizhny Novgorod but he finished the season with Real Betis of the ACB, he then came back to Israel only this time as a Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv player.
During last season DeAndre was one of the toughest, funniest and beloved players in the locker room and also beloved by the fans. In the EuroLeague the guard forward averaged 7.4P, 4R, 2.1A and great defense.
In the domestic regular season he averaged 7.3P, 4.7R and 2.8A, he was a starter in all of the playoff games where he averaged 9P, 6R, 3.5A and 1.8S in 24.7 minutes. Kane was ranked 5th in the +/- rankings in the team and 22nd in the league.
