Andrew Goudelock and Maik Zirbes were given a day off, but the rest of their friends managed to get the job done without them. Maccabi Fox Tel Aviv got off to a good start and never relinquished the lead eventually walking off with a 81:72 win over Hapoel Holon that paved the way to the top spot in the Israeli league.
Maccabi is now 3:0 in domestic league play and seeks to get back on track in Euroleague play, with back to back European matches coming up next, against Galatasaray and Zalgiris.
DJ Seeley was the one who took advantage of his extended playing time with a stellar performance, scoring 18 points (7/8 from the field) in 21 minutes. Victor Rudd continued playing well with 15 and Sylven Landsberg, who was the only players to play 30 minutes, got 14. Joe Alexander scored 8, Yogev Ohayon and Colton Iverson had 7 each with the big man also getting 10 rebounds. Guy Pnini had 5, Sonny Weems 4 and Gal Mekel 3.
